For the Win
By Alysha Tsuji
The NFL draft red carpet (and just the draft in general) has turned into a fashion show over the years. Last year’s highlight was Ezekiel Elliott rolling up his shirt to make it look like he was wearing a crop top.
This year, we talked to one of the designers who is dressing three of the prospects who are in Philadelphia, and she told us there’s a “bright teal suit” that is going to turn heads, so we’re looking out for that. But so far, the top outfits have been worn by a prospect’s family member, Clemson’s Deshaun Watson and a very cute baby.
UCLA linebacker Takk McKinley’s family member
He’s not a prospect, but that hat and that suit stole the show.
McKinley looked good too.
Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson’s spiky shoes
Here’s what the rest of his outfit looks like:
Utah offensive tackle Garett Bolles
Bolles is on this list because THE BABY is the best-dressed baby.
LSU safety Jamal Adams
Double-breasted suit swag.
Ohio State safety Malik Hooker
Hooker didn’t wear this when he was drafted — he wore it the day after — but its’ so cool we have to have it here.
Western Michigan wide receiver Corey Davis
The pink jacket is just awesome — be bold.
Michigan State defensive lineman Malik McDowell
I’m not sure what kind of print is going on here, but it reminds me of what Andrew Wiggins wore to the NBA draft a few years ago.
Here’s what Wiggins wore in 2014:
Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer
Kizer is wearing a Sasquatch on his suit lining for a good cause. Also the purple jacket is so nice.
